THE SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT COLLECTION OF CHILDHOOD STAR PUBLICITY PHOTOS

This is Billy Mumy from "Lost in Space."
Billy learned about dental hygiene while growing up in England
This is Missy Francis from "Little House on the Prairie."

The life of a Hollywood star can be stressful.

"Don't hit me mommy! I promise to study my lines."

Do you remember Lance Kerwin?

"Noooo. You were in every single "ABC After School Special" in the 1970s
Mark Lester- Do you remember Oliver?

You think his agent could have given him a comb before the publicity photo? No wonder his career ended.
Douglas Scott was a child star from the early days of Hollywood.

Douglas was the inspiration for the 1960s TV character Eddie Munster
Scotty Beckett was a child star of the 1930s and 40s.

Nothing makes a kid smile like his own handgun.

Quick! Get Mr. Beckett his favorite Luger P08!

Bobby Breen was another child star from the 30s and 40s

Bobby went on to Broadway to star in "Rent."
Ricky Schroeder starred in television roles in the 1980s

Ricky had a Siamese twin named Dicky. Dicky died in surgery so that Ricky could be a star
Dakota Fanning is one of our more recent additions

It appears that Dakota is from Roswell, NM.
Remember Clint Howard from "Gentle Ben?"

His brother Ronny got all the good genes
Virginia Lee Corbin goes all the way back to the silent movies

I will probably be banned from playgrounds, parks and schools, and have to register with the police for posting this photo.
Johnny Whitaker- Johnny starred in the TV show "Family Affair."

He was under this tree for so long during the photo shoot that a blue jay built a nest in his hair. Johnny was never the same.
Jody Foster got her start as a child star

They made us pose like this because I kept flipping Johnny the bird
Patty McCormack was a child star of the 1950s

This photo is proof that Ritalin was invented in the 1950s.
Betty Holt was another star from the 30s

Mr. Cuddly Bear says I have to go pee
 Shirley Temple needs no introduction

A little known biographical fact about Shirley: During WWII Shirley parachuted into occupied France and led the French Resistance because they could not find a Frenchman brave enough to do it
Emmanuel Lewis was "Webster" in the 1970s

In the late 70s, the television formula for successful comedy was to either have a variety show with mimes and chimpanzees, or to have a sitcom where a rich, white family adopts a pet midget Negro child ("Webster" and "Different Strokes")

Donny Osmond was a singer with the Osmond Family. Sort of a Mormon version of the von Trapp Family Singers

At first I thought this was Linda Ronstadt. But Linda has no teeth.
